Take a deeper dive into prospect research! This presentation will expand upon the first Prospect Research: Tips & Tricks session from December 2014. Participants will walk away with an actionable understanding of the resources utilized by professional prospect researchers – including SEC forms, FEC filings, and real estate assessments – all while adhering to the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) Code of Ethics.
About the Presenter:
Rachel Dakarian brings non-profit and political experience to her position as Prospect Research Analyst at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She most recently served as assistant director of development research at the Iowa State University Foundation (2010-2013) in Ames, Iowa. She continues to be involved in the Ames community through her service on the Board of Directors of Wheatsfield Cooperative Grocery. Previously, Rachel served as a regional organizer for Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa (2008-2010) – now Planned Parenthood of the Heartland – and her campaign experience includes social media management and advance work for a Minnesota gubernatorial candidate during the 2010 midterm election, as well as multiple fundraising and communications roles in Iowa elections. Rachel is a 2008 graduate of Drake University and resides in Des Moines, Iowa.
